My Process
Ensuring the perfect fit is my top priority
I want to ensure that you and I are a great fit to work together, right from the beginning.
You want the same thing.
To make sure this happens, I have a three-step interview process. That might seem like a lot, but I’ve found that it really is the best way to make sure we are both on the same page and when we agree to work with each other, the partnership will be a lasting one.
Step 1:
Exploring the Connection
This call will be about 15 minutes and we’ll just talk. We’ll talk about anything except business. We’ll see if the conversation is easy, if our personalities work well together. That’s the purpose of this call.
Step 2:
Exploring the Details
This is where we talk about business. You’ll tell me about what you do. Where you’re stuck or struggling as a business owner and could use my help. Where you like to be in six months, one year, and well into the future. You’ll tell me about how your business operates and your processes and procedures, and what you want from your virtual assistant. I’ll tell you more about what I do and how I work and if and how I can support you and your goals.
Step 3:
Exploring the Relationship
If we both like how things are progressing, we’ll move on to this final step. This is where we talk about the details of the working relationship and set expectations. Topics covered include communication styles, privacy and trust, boundaries, equality in the relationship and problem solving.
When it’s all done, we’ll know each other and our work styles well. If we agree to move forward with our partnership, I’ll send you my new client welcome packet. Once you fill it out and send it back to me we can get started.

Maria Aoukar
Maria Aoukar is an AssistU trained virtual assistant. She holds a BA in computer science, an MBA in operations management and a certificate in Health Coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Her unique background enables Maria to support her clients with not only an understanding of their needs but with the technical know how to help them reach their goals. Maria lives in Westchester County, NY with her husband and three children.
